The CAS-Hire CARB 500 Air Scrubber is an advanced efficiency air filtration product designed to be utilized primarily within the fire and flood damage restoration, mould correction, domestic and commercial shop fit refurbishment and in the dust & odour management industries.

The CARB 500 produces 500 CFM and can filter the air seven times in an hour with in a 6m x 6m enclosed area. By using its advanced Carbon and HEPA Filtration technology removing any undesirable smells, dust and unwelcome particulate matter with consummate ease. The CARB 500 air scrubber from CAS-Hire can also be used as HEPA filtration only without the odour removal specialist charcoal carbon filter if your requirement is purely dust and bacterial based.

Please note our Industrial air scrubbers are supplied without HEPA filters and pre filters thus to prevent potential cross contamination passed by preused filters insuring the optimum machine performance efficiency. Buying new filters minimise potential health risks of our leading air cleaning products, CAS-Hire provide compulsory consumable purchase price list for new filters available for each product are purchased along with the hire of our equipment.

Option A  – Standard Air Scrubbing F270 Pre Filter PLUS 2nd stage F271 Filter & F321A Hepa Filter

Increase the lifespan of the CARB500 HEPA filter by adding a 1st stage pre filter allowing for a 10% added efficiency by extracting larger particulates. We recommend purchasing and replacing a new pre filter for each individual job.

Hepa Filter
The market leading performance of the CARB 500 Hepa filter enhances your healthcare. This filter is designed to remove the maximum particulate pollutant matters such as sewerage bacteria particulates, silica, MDF or wood dust fibres and every other variety of particles.

Charcoal Carbon Filter
The CARB 500 air scrubber filter is designed incorporating an optional activated carbon filter. This filter is recommended for rooms exposed to heavy smoke, fumes and other unpleasant odours pollutants for example, fire retardant fumes, household paints; flood damage restoration cleaning products, sewerage odours, and deceased vermin smells. The Charcoal activated carbon filter is principally to be utilised for extraction of gaseous pollutants and secondarily for particle removal.

Good to know:

The names “air scrubber” and “negative air machine” are commonly used to describe this unit however they are basically terms for our product which can produce a dual function service.

Any renovation that involves the removal of sewage, flood waters, mould correction or fire damage will create significant levels of nasty particulates and odoriferous fumes. The contaminants produced are created by the initial damage matter combined with compulsory practice of treating and cleansing of the damaged materials within the affected area. Unfortunately damage created in this manner are not the only issue to be addressed in the occupied space as contaminants in wall or ceiling cavities can be unsettled and inadvertently introduced bacterial migration back into the main occupied area. This form of contaminants can relocate into carpet pile, upholstery, wallpapers, furnishings, and other surfaces in enclosed area.

The aim of each restoration project is to efficiently and safely return the affected enclosed area back to its pre-loss condition. Included in this process is the responsibility is to address the air quality within the area, which can be accomplished by hiring our CARB 500 air scrubber from CAS-Hire.
