Good to know:
The names “air scrubber” and “negative air machine” are commonly used to describe this unit however they are basically terms for our product which can produce a dual function service.
An air scrubber is positioned alone in the middle of an enclosed area without any ducting attached.
The air is then drawn through its filters before being recirculated within the enclosed area. An air scrubber is designed to help improve the overall air quality within the specific area of the workplace.
A negative air machine requires flexible ductingto extract contaminated air from a sealed enclosed area. Air is filtered through the CARB500 machine and exhausted to a suitable area located outside of the enclosed sealed area. This practice creates a negative air pressure inside the sealed enclosed area compared to the surrounding areas. A negative air machine application is designed to restrict the level of spreading contaminants within the sealed area.
Any renovation that involves the removal of sewage, flood waters, mould correction or fire damage will create significant levels of nasty particulates and odoriferous fumes. The contaminants produced are created by the initial damage matter combined with compulsory practice of treating and cleansing of the damaged materials within the affected area. Unfortunately damage created in this manner are not the only issue to be addressed in the occupied space as contaminants in wall or ceiling cavities can be unsettled and inadvertently introduced bacterial migration back into the main occupied area. This form of contaminants can relocate into carpet pile, upholstery, wallpapers, furnishings, and other surfaces in enclosed area.
The aim of each restoration project is to efficiently and safely return the affected enclosed area back to its pre-loss condition. Included in this process is the responsibility is to address the air quality within the area, which can be accomplished by hiring our CARB 500 air scrubber from CAS-Hire.
