Air Purifier Hire

An Air purifier (Air cleaner) is a portable or fixed appliance designed to remove contaminants from air. Several different processes of varying effectiveness can be used to purify air. There are several filtration processes which remove different contaminants, so there are advantages in using more than one process in a purifier.

At CAS-Hire our new select range of residential, commercial and industrial portable air cleaners are now available for hire. They help eliminate pollen, smoke fumes, dust, powders and other dry process pollutants before they unfavourably affect indoor air quality and worker productivity. The smaller units in our fleet are more commonly associated and particularly beneficial to allergy sufferers, and asthmatics.

Our portable industrial air cube air cleaner units are particularly well suited to carrying onto any job site. Easily hand carry able, compact and easy to store however can deliver a powerful performance to extract smoke, dust and fumes from welding, soldering, grinding, cutting and sanding operations with optional 110v or 240 v versions available.

How do air purifiers work?

An Air cleaner can be a portable or fixed piece of equipment that is designed to extract pollution from an indoor area

Filtered Recirculation air cleaners use a variety of filters designed to address various pollutants at varying levels by drawing the polluted air through the specific filters before recirculation of  the now cleaned air back into the indoor environment.

HEPA filtration: HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air or Arrestance.  This type of filter is produced to a specific standard which enables the filter media to extract 99.97% at 0.3 micrometers of pollutant from the environment.  HEPA filters are designed to contain the fine, almost invisible and very often dangerous particulate which cannot be picked up by general Stage One and Stage Two pre filters.  Stage one and Stage two Pre Filters are made from varying grades of course filter material designed to trap the larger particulate prior to reaching the significantly more expensive and efficient HEPA filter. Pre filters one and two extend the operational  HEPA filter lifespan by preventing the HEPA from clogging up quicker. The relatively inexpensive Pre filters can be economically disposed of whilst optimising the efficiency of the air cleaning process.

Active Carbon Filters

Carbon Filters or Gas filters contain fine porous carbon granules or pellets designed to absorb strong odours and gases. When polluted air / gas pass through the carbon filters porous granules / pellets,  a balance by exchanging gaseous vapour to a solid is reached. Carbon filters containing odours however can be re released if pellets or granules within filters are crushed or damaged

Air Ioniser Purifiers use electrically charged air and gas ion particles to clean air borne pollution. The electrically charged ions are drawn to charged collector plates inside the air cleaner which can be cleaned frequently using anti bacterial fluid  or wipes without use of filters. This process does create traces of ozone as a by product however generally at a level  less than 0.05 parts per million (PPM). Air ionizers and available in fan less for localised areas and fan assisted designed to manager larger volume areas.

Our air cleaner range are designed to extract pollen, air borne bacteria, pet dander, smoke, dust, powders as well as various other potentially harmful volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) such as formaldehyde and limonene. Unlike many of our UK hire market competitors when hiring an air cleaner from CAS-Hire we insist on the customer buying new filters for each individual hire. This is to give all our customers peace of mind that we have taken strict Health and Safety measures to prevent cross contamination risk between hires and guarantees the optimum efficiency performance of every air cleaner we send out.  Our units are commonly  hired for a wide range of applications such as Construction sites, Laboratories, Nursing homes, Hospitals, Doctors surgery waiting rooms, Schools, Children’s nurseries, Call centres, Health clubs, Hotels, Factory production lines, City centre domestic properties, Television and film production, Insurance Reinstatement contracts to name but a few. All our air cleaners are fairly compact, easily manoeuvrable or carriable and available in 240v with also 110v models available in our Industrial and construction dust management fleet only.
