Delivery Information for Hire Items (UK Only)
CAS-Hire’s delivery and collection service is very often carried out by third party couriers. We aim complete deliveries usually within next working day service between Monday – Friday based on orders received before 1500hrs and subject to equipment availability.
CAS-Hire endeavour to recycle and reuse packaging wherever possible therefore items will be delivered encased in specialist packaging or pallets including reusable banding and buckles that our customers are expected to retain so that the equipment can be reused and returned safely and securely. There is an additional charge to supply additional packaging should original delivery packaging or pallets are disregarded.
Our third party couriers generally deliver our equipment before noon when possible unless customers specifically requested for premium rate designated AM deliveries however collections of equipment are almost always completed after 12 noon and can be planned to be within a 3-4 hour collection slot. Optional Specialist designated driver delivery services, Saturday deliveries and additional equipment set up services are also available as chargeable extra services over and above our standard carriage rates.
Very often return courier labels are also enclosed within the packaging of smaller hire items which must be saved and reused by removing and replacing the delivery labels to allow the couriers to direct the equipment to the appropriate off hire service centre when returning goods.
Delivery Information for Sale Items (UK Only)
Whilst we make every effort to guarantee that all of products on our website are available from stock, we do occasionally run out of certain items and may require to wait for a short period whilst we new stock arrives. If your equipment is out of stock, and would appear to take longer than we expect to restock, we will contact you to discuss whether we can provide a suitable alternative solution or refund your full payment. Goods are generally dispatched within 2-3 working days and we aim for you to receive goods no later than 7-10 working days from date of order.
Cooler Air Services Ltd will not be liable for loses/damages/consequential loss due to late delivery of goods or services.
Cooler Air Services Ltd, trading as CAS-Hire, utilise the services of third party couriers to delivery items. Delivery charges vary subject to height, weight and size of goods. Most of the smaller items are dispatched in box carton packaging however the larger items are generally palletised.
Please note when ordering items that you have sufficient capability to manoeuvre the goods as our couriers are only contractually obligated to deliver and collect goods to a ground floor main entrance or Goods in / out loading bay of the building in which your premises are located and will not deliver to or collect from your premises if its located above or below ground floor.
Our couriers services operate from Monday to Friday between 0800 – 1700hrs and do not operate a Saturday, Sunday or National Bank holidays service. Our couriers offer a delivery or collection service only and are not contractually obliged to unpack or repackage items and are not expected to set up / install items they deliver.
Private consumers may cancel their purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods and we will refund the price paid. The purchaser must inform us by email / fax / recorded delivery mail written confirmation of their intent to return the goods (Please find details on our terms and conditions page). Goods must be unused and returned in the same condition and original packaging in which they were received immediately by informing us of a suitable collection date for us to arrange our courier collection service. A collection return chargeable fee will be incurred . Any statutory Consumer Rights are unaffected by this agreement. Please note that this is not applicable to any business customers / user.
We generally will not accept goods back unless under Warranty after 14 calendar days (see Consumer Rights above).
However, if at our discretion we agree to accept goods for return after 14 calendar days, a restocking chargeable fee of 35% of the purchase price will be levied. No charge will be made to private consumers who return goods within a period of 14 calendar days of receipt of purchase.
Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy for Sale Items
You can cancel a Contract during the period set out below. This means that during the relevant period if you change your mind or decide for any other reason that you do not want to receive or keep a Product, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the Contract and receive a refund. Advice about your legal right to cancel the Contract is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
The time period set out below starts from the date of the Dispatch Confirmation (the date on which we e-mail you to confirm our acceptance of your order). Your deadline for cancelling the Contract then depends on what you have ordered and how it is delivered, as set out below:

To cancel a Contract, you just need to let us know that you have decided to cancel.
The easiest way to do this is to e-mail us at email@example.com, contact our Customer Services team by telephone on 0800 525 082 or by post to Unit 2, 11 Borrowmeadow Road, Springkerse Industrial Estate, Stirling FK7 7UW.
If you are e-mailing us or writing to us please include details of your order to help us to identify it. If you send us your cancellation notice by e-mail or by post, then your cancellation is effective from the date you send us the e-mail or post the letter to us.
If you cancel your Contract we will:
- refund you the price you paid for the Products. However, please note we are permitted by law to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. If we refund you the price paid before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount.
- make any refunds due to you as soon as possible
If you have returned the Products to us because they are faulty or mis-described, we will refund the price of the Products in full, together with any applicable delivery charges, and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us.
We will refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay. If you used vouchers to pay for the Product we may refund you in vouchers.
If a Product has been delivered to you before you decide to cancel your Contract:
- then you must return it to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days after the day on which you let us know that you wish to cancel the Contract. You can either send it back, addressed to CAS-Hire Returns, Unit 2, 11 Borrowmeadow Road, Springkerse Industrial Estate, Stirling FK7 7UW or use our authorised carrier information about which can be obtained from our customer service team.
- unless the Product is faulty or not as described, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the Products to us. If the Product is one which cannot be returned by post, we estimate that if you use the carrier which delivered the Product to you, these costs should not exceed the sums we charged you for delivery.
