CAS-Hire Edinburgh office recently won a contract to supply a busy luxurious city centre hotel with a mixture of thirty-seven of our new stylish heat pump VC12PT 3.5kw and VC09PT 2.5kw portable ducted air conditioners to maintain optimum comfort in a selection of their hotel rooms. The hotel requested window kits to be supplied so that they could be securely fitted to sash-type windows providing a secure and visually more aesthetically appealing look to fit in with the luxurious furnishings and decor. The window kits supplied also are designed to prevent the flexible hot air exhaust ducts from being externally visually exposed from the windows potentially detracting from the stunning hotel’s premium historic locale.

The sleek off-white colour unit produces a low running noise level and a heat pump reverse cycle function which is designed to produce heat utilising the ambient air.
The energy A level rated VC12PTportable air conditioning system unit features Cooling, Heating, Dehumidifying and fan-only functions with variable fan speeds, thermostatic temperature control, timer, sleep, and oscillating air outlet louvers controlled from a stylish yet simple to use LCD operating panel. The VC12PT monobloc / portable air conditioner generates a cooling capacity of 12000btu or 3.5kw and has a maximum exhaust hose length of up to a maximum of 3m.
