Filter Stages:

G4 Filter

The G4 filter clears the air up to 90% and all dust particles 5 microns or larger are removed at this stage.

Hepa14 Filter

The HEPA14 \ Carbon filter removes up to 99.995% of micro particles larger than 0.01 microns.

Active Carbon Filter

The carbon section of the H14 \ Carbon filter removes pollutants, volatile organic compounds otherwise referred to as VOCs and unpleasant odors from the air. These are gaseous matter that particulate filters G4 and H14 HEPA filters cannot remove.

UV-C Sterilizer

How the system operates

• Polluted air is drawn into the Medi 25 Air cleaner by our extremely quiet fan.
• Airborne particles are guided through the ion chamber and are electrically charged. This allows them to be caught easily to our polypropylene filter media.
• The charged particles are then extracted in the specially structured, filters within the initial layers capturing larger particles pollutants such as pollen and dust as they proceed further into the media. As the air is drawn further still into the filter, even the finest of particles such as cigarette smoke and exhaust fumes are removed. This progressive design structure of filter media with millions of ultra thin fibres in different sizes and layers. When the filter needs to be replaced (approximately every six months), simply open the lid, remove the old filters and replace with the new ones. This is a very simply and straight forward procedure and no tools are required to carry out this task. An additional fact is that the filters do not require washing weekly or additives.

The link combined process of the encapsulated ion chamber and the filtration process allow the Medi 25 air cleaners HEPA low noise level technology — providing extremely rewarding airflow with very low noise output.
