CAS-Hire Manchester office wins temporary portable humidifier hire contract with a large manufacturer based in Humberside, whilst repair work is carried out on the new fixed humidity control system by others in a high reliant humidity-controlled area.

CAS-Hire was able to offer forty (40) temporary evaporative humidifiers to assist in maintaining an acceptable (RH) Relative humidity whilst the urgent repair works were carried out and provided necessary backup once the main issues had been resolved. This allowed the customer additional flexibility and confidence to continue manufacturing their products with the knowledge that additional backup was in place should they incur any additional teething problems.

After our sales team received the enquiry late afternoon, CAS-Hire managed to offer a quick response and had the units delivered the very next day.

The XH16 high-performance humidifier can manage room sizes up to 1000m3. Each system can produce an outstanding 2L/hr of moisture from a rotating drum immersed in a water reservoir built within the unit. The metal-cased, easily portable systems on sturdy castors also offer variable setting humidistat and two-speed fan control. The empty weight of 18.6kgs with a water tank capacity of 34L, the XH16 are also a very popular hire product within museums, theatres, universities, local government offices, offices, production lines and printers.

Room humidity can be easily overlooked however, if not managed suitably can create substantial damage or discomfort to production, workforce or storage of valuable items.
